Saturday we went with Trent’s brother to Where is Henry for breakfast – another one of our local Malvern cafes. We had been once before when we first moved into the area but not since then.
It was quiet when we arrived and we had a choice of tables. We were given menus and water on the table straight away, and offered drinks. It was a bit cold in the cafe and the music was a little loud for me early on a Saturday morning.
I had a chai latte, Trent had an iced coffee and Rodney had a espresso which was served with a small glass of sparkling water. For breakfast Trent and I shared the Shakshouka and the French Toast, while Rodney ordered the Veggie Big Breakfast.
The Shakshouka was fantastic. It was a generous serve with lots of yummy chorizo and feta and well cooked eggs, although only two half pieces of toast which wasn’t enough for Trent. The french toast was a decent serving with banana, berries, marscapone and a drizzle of maple syrup. It was nice but a little too savoury for our taste.
Overall we were very impressed with the experience. Where is Henry was close to getting a rating of 8, but the slight disappointments with the food and the ambience meant it got a 7 from us.
